When we think of fine art black and white photography we often think of Ansel Adams or Michael Kenna with their expressive photographs oozing with tonality. There is something timeless about a beautifully created black and white image, and black and white photography has certainly experienced a renaissance over previous years.

​​​​Virtually all of the photographers we meet have wanted, at some stage, to make great monochrome images and this is why we have designed this workshop. There are so many ways to approach black and white that it has almost become confusing wondering where to begin.

​​In this workshop we break the journey down into individual steps that are easy to follow and they will enable you to transform your black and white Images.

​​Black and white photography has always stood alone, and if done well, is regarded as an art form in its own right. All to often the process  of making creating beautifully  toned images is made complicated. Here, we show you how to enjoy this journey.

At aspect2i we don't only teach you how to use image editing tools but we also teach you when and why to use the different tools.  You will learn how to assess images in terms of black and white - form, structure, tones and determine what image editing needs to be done.  We have been teaching post processing and printing for over a decade to hundreds of people.  Our videos are to the point and will tell you everything you need to know without over complicating things.  You are in good hands.
