Who are we?

Aspect2i which is a photography workshop company formed nearly 12 years ago by two professional landscape photographers, Paul Gallagher and Michael Pilkington.  Since then, Paul and Michael have taken people to many countries around the world from China and Japan to the USA and Canada to name a few, but have now decided to create a new and exciting venture in educating photographers.  Aspect2i is dedicated to teaching photographers new skills and making them more confident and capable at what they do.

We believe knowledge and learning leads to people becoming better and more expressive photographers and we have found the thirst for knowledge and grasping new skills is high. Many photographers have a chink in their armour or an achilles heal that they have never overcome. It may be using a certain lens, understanding photoshop layers or simply learning black and white so that your prints look like they have just been delivered from a traditional dark room. In short, we teach and we are passionate about passing on a combined 50 years of experience.

We all love to get out there with our cameras and enjoy travelling and that is what aspect2i will continue to do for many more years, taking people into the wilds! If you want to learn a specific skill or challenge yourself to a new way of working, then we believe aspect2i will be able to help. All of our courses, workshops and masterclasses and been tailor made from Paul and Michael’s extensive experience as professionals and they have left no stone unturned. All our courses are up-to-the-minute, to the point, and clearly delivered to enable you to soak up and much information during your time learning with us.
